AAP Youth Wing takes out protest demanding Sawant Resignation Condemns police brutality on AAP leaders

A day after AAP Goa’s leadership was illegally detained by the Goa Police for demanding Pramod Sawant’s Resgination after former Goa Governor Satya Pal Malik’s statements on how corrupt the Goa Govt was, AAP’s youth wing too out another protest in Panaji. AAP’s youth leaders many of whom were detained yesterday took a stand outside Panaji KTC bus stand.

The Volunteers of AAP youth wing continued the party’s demand that Pramod Sawant resign and a judicial inquiry be made on the allegations of corruption by the Sawant sarkar that cost a lot of lives. The Honorable former Governor of Goa Shri Satya Pal Malik stated categorically that there was corruption in the Goa Govt in any and everything. Malik who is a prominent BJP leader who was appointed as the Governor of Goa went to stand by his words by stating that he was removed from his post for standing up to Pramod Sawant’s corruption
The Aam Aadmi Party Yesterday had taken out a massive protest with 800 volunteers which shook up the BJP. Teh Sawant Sarkar met this with strong police presence and lots of AAP leaders were manhandled by the police. The Youth wing today condemned the heavy handed approach and illegal detention of AAP leaders and volunteers till the wee hours of October 27.

Cecille Rodrigues, AAP Taleigao, Assembly in-charge & Vice President of AAP National Young Wing stated they have the full support of the residents. “Residents too have come out in large number to support AAP in the protest yatra. They are too tired of the corrupt BJP government and wants the chief minister to resign,” she said.

“Today we the youth have come out to show BJP that we are not scared! We have come out to show them that they can’t intimidate our leaders and our volunteers. AAP will not stop till Pramod Sawant will resign!” said Hanzel Fernandes AAP General Secretary (Youth).
