Panaji: Goa Tourism has won the Award for Excellence at the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) Hyderabad 2026, recognising its presentation showcasing the state’s diverse tourism offerings beyond beaches.

The three-day exhibition was held at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad from October 9 to 11. The award was presented under the TTF Excellence Awards by Fairfest Media Ltd.

Goa Tourism’s pavilion highlighted the state’s tourism identity and a range of experiences, including cultural heritage, spirituality, hinterland tourism, wellness, adventure tourism, festivals and local experiences, alongside its established beach tourism.

Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte said the recognition was a proud moment for the state and an opportunity to strengthen engagement with travellers and industry stakeholders across the country.

He said Goa was committed to positioning itself as a destination offering experiences beyond its beaches, with attractions rooted in its heritage, culture, spirituality, wellness and hinterland.

Director of Tourism Kedar Naik said the award recognised the department’s efforts to establish a distinctive presence at travel trade exhibitions.

Such platforms enable the state to connect with travel partners, highlight emerging tourism experiences and promote its year-round offerings, he said.

TTF is a travel trade exhibition network that brings together tourism boards, travel operators, hospitality businesses and other industry stakeholders to facilitate business engagement and destination promotion.
