Panaji: Hours after cracking a drug nexus of over a crore, Pernem police on Monday arrested two murder accused wanted by Kerala’s Thrissur rural police.
The accused namely, Smith K S and Vijil T B, both resident of Kerala are involved in Murder case i.e in crime no. 1225/2020, u/sec 341, 302, 392, 506(ii) r/w 34 IPC. It was also reported that many heinous crimes are registered like extortion , attempt to murder, money laundering cases against them.
The search operation was carried out after Thrissur rural police about the accused staying in Pernem police station jurisdiction. Accordingly PI Jivba Dalvi along with his team consisting of PSI Praful P. Giri, PC Vinod Pednekar, PC Poke moved secretly and conducted search as per electronic evidence.
Further Pernem Police team caught above two accused person in Arambol.
Further above accused persons were handed over to Thrissur rural Kerala Police for further necessary course of action. All search operation was conducted under guidance of SDPO Shri Gajananan Prabhudessai and SP North Utkrisht Prasoon, IPS.
