Panaji : Soon after the Hon’ble Supreme Court gave its verdict on Municipal War Reservation Sankalp Amonkar the Vice president of Goa Congress slammed Urban Development Minister Milind Naik for creating the municipal ward reservation issue.
“Milind Naik should be sacked, he is a troublemaker who is behind this issue”. Amonkar asserted that reservation should be done according to sequence and not according to the whims and fancies of Naik.
Aamonkar opined that the SC verdict is indeed a landmark judgement as they have proved no one is above the rule of law not even the government. Amonkar has also expressed his gratitude towards advocates who represented the case in HC and SC.
