Panaji – Quashing the Electoral Bonds which was floated by NDA Government is a very very severe indictment of the Central Government. This judgement is a sign of victory for Democratic Electoral Process stated Congress MLA Adv. Carlos Alvares Ferreira.
Addressing a press conference at Congress House in Panjim along with Congress General Secretary Adv. Shrinivas Khalap, he slammed BJP Government for doing corruption from the backdoor.
Electoral Bond Scheme was very opaque. People did not have the right to know who was contributing. The Government had all access to the data, opposition had none. Which means BJP knew who was contributing to them as well as who was contributing to Opposition, pointed Carlos Ferreia.
It will be interesting now to see who was harassed, who was raided, who was troubled after they contributed to the funds. Once the list are out we will be able to analyse actions taken by ED, CBI and Income Tax or any other Agency of Central Government, stated Adv. Carlos Ferreira.
