Valpoi: As the Shel Melauli villagers’ protest against the proposed IIT project completes two months, people still continue their protest against the proposed IIT project. On Wednesday, around two hundred village women had attended the protest blocking the village road.
According to Melauli villagers they have not celebrated the Diwali festival and Padwa this year. “On the auspicious occasion of Diwali we held the protest against the IIT project and we will continue our protest against the IIT project, till its not shifted to other place. We will continue our fight against the proposed IIT project to save our village and our village biodiversity,” a villager said.
