Narendra Sawaikar begins his campaign in South Goa, offers prayers at Damodar Temple, Vasco

Vasco: BJP’s sitting MP and candidate for South Goa seat Narendra Sawaikar today began his campaigning from Vasco after seeking blessings at Damodar Temple, Vasco.

Sawaikar was accompanied by BJP MLA Carlose Almeida amongst others when he offered prayers at the temple, this afternoon.

The sitting MP who has matured from the level of a cadre to the leader has been getting tremendous response from the voters.

Sawaikar has been on his toes right from the time he was first elected to the seat in the year 2014.

“People are getting connected to BJP due to the developmental works undertaken by the party. You look around and the way infrastructure has been taking shape is testimony that Narendra Modi-led government has changed the face of the country,” he said.

Sawaikar stated that people are determined to get Narendra Modi elected once again as Prime Minister of the country. “Wherever I go, there is BJP wave that we are witnessing. People have seen how internationally, India has outshined others. This is because of the policies of Modi-led government,” he said.

BJP leader said the performance of Manohar Parrikar-led government in the State is also helping the party in a big way.

Sawaikar said that he has been touring South Goa Lok Sabha Constituency extensively.

“I was in Cuncolim constituency day before yesterday and then was in Sanguem yesterday and prior to that was in Sanvordem,” he said adding that he has been in the constituency during entire five years.

BJP candidate has said that alliance partners in Parrikar-led government are strongly backing him in the election.
