Panaji: Goa government on Sunday announced extension of covid inducted state level curfew till August 16.
State administration in its order issued has said that the validity of the curfew is extended till August 16, 7 am.
While detailed order is still awaited, as per the earlier order, the curfew was supposed to end on August 09.
The state government has opened majority of the activities in the state with several curbs but the areas like Casinos are yet to be opened.
State has been reporting an average 100 COVID-19 cases per day. The curfew was first imposed in May when cases attained peak in the coastal state, which was then reeling under second wave.
