Calangute police have arrested one Mr. Rajvir S/o Prabhudayal Singh, age 43 yrs, N/o Dhimwali, Rajasthan for outraging the modesty of a lady.
As per PI Jivba Dalvi a complaint was received from one lady native of Mumbai, complaining that she along with her husband and kids was at Calangute beach on 12/02/2019 at around 16:00 hrs. After some time they all entered the sea water to have a bath. Further the accused person who was also having bath in the sea water besides them approached the lady complainant, touched her inappropriately and abused her with vulgar and filthy words thereby outraging her modesty.
Further when the husband of the lady questioned the accused person, he assaulted him with fist blows due to which the husband sustained injuries.
Police immediately registered an offence U/s 354-A, 323 of the Indian Penal Code and during the investigation accused person was arrested immediately.
During the investigation it is revealed that the accused person is posted as a Hawaldar in CRPF(Central Reserve Police Force) and is currently deployed at Recruit Training Centre in Madhya Pradesh.
Further investigation is in progress with LPSI Sapna Gawas under the supervision of PI Jivba Dalvi.
