Panaji: Total 592 new cases of COVID-19 infection was reported in Goa on Saturday, taking the total tally to 20,455.
The health department official said that 534 people were recovered on Friday, after which 15281 people have been declared as recovered by the state government.
In all 2515 samples were tested, 1510 were negative, 592were positive and 413 reports are awaited.
Nine people died on Friday taking the death toll to 229 in the coastal state.
