Panaji : Sarpanch of Taleigao Village Panchayat and Close Associate of Panjim MLA Antonasio (Babush) Monseratte, Agnelo Da Cunha expressed his desire to contest upcoming assembly elections from St Cruz Constituency.
Da Cunha says he would hope to get a BJP Ticket from St Cruz Constituency.
“The current BJP-MLA, Atonio Fernandes has not performed up to the expectations of people. A survey is going on and the facts and ground reality will unveil before BJP and I am confident that I will get a ticket or contest as an independent candidate,” he said.
“I have the support of Babush in St Cruz moreover, the pulse of the people says they want me to contest,” said Da Cunha.
“I will get to the root cause of the issues faced by St Cruz locals. My humble request to the voters would be to seek their support and vote and elect me,” Da Cunha Concluded.
