Panaji: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday expressed confidence that his party would get an opportunity to form the government in Goa, claiming that people were increasingly getting disillusioned with both the BJP and the Congress.
Kejriwal made the remarks shortly after arriving in Goa for a three-day visit, during which the party is expected to intensify its political activities ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections.
“Aam Aadmi Party is expanding its work rapidly across the State. I hope that this time people who are fed up with both the BJP and Congress will support AAP and help it form the government in Goa,” he said.
The AAP leader said he was visiting the state for three days but did not elaborate on his schedule or the specific programmes planned during the visit.
The visit comes as political parties begin preparations for the 2027 Goa Assembly elections, scheduled to be held for all 40 constituencies. AAP has two MLAs in Goa legislative Assembly.
