CCP fines 71 vehicle owners in Panaji last night, collects Rs 28,000

Panaji: On Wednesday night 54 two wheelers were towed and 17 four wheelers were clamped by CCP with the help of Traffic Police, a total fine  of Rs 28000 was collected, informed Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) Mayor Uday Madkaikar informed.
To discuss the various issues faced by residents of Panaji especially during night, Madkaikar, on Thursday held a meeting  with MLA Babush Monserratte along with Sanjit Rodrigues, Dysp Traffic Salim shaikh and PI Traffic.
“Stringent fines will be imposed on those vehicles which are Parked at No Parking zones and on footpaths. Regular drives will be carried out at night from today,” the CCP Mayor said.
