Panaji: Calangute Police team headed by PI Nolasco Raposo on Sunday apprehended one man for illegally possessing 173 grams ganja worth Rs 20,000.
Tivim resident Sairaj Hadkonkar, 24-years-old was arrested during patrolling.
The Calangute police team comprised PSI Jatin Potdar Police Constables Dinesh Morajkar, Suresh Naik, Sarvesh Mestri, Harshad Gaonkar and Shasank Sakhalkar.
This is also the thirteenth narcotic drugs case booked at Calangute Police Station for the current year till date.
Further investigation in this case is conducted by PSI Vikas Deykar under the direction of PI Calangute Mr Nolasco Raposo and overall supervision of SDPO Porvorim Mr Edwin Colaco and SP North Mr Utkrisht Prasoon.
