Panaji: Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte on Sunday questioned the government about the memorandums submitted on Mollem issue till date by various organisations including him.
Khaunte’s response comes after Union Minister Prakash Javadekar, who is in the state, said that he will look into the Mollem issue if memorandum is given.
“Union Minister @PrakashJavdekar says he will look into the Mollem issue if Memorandum is given, so whatever happened to the Memorandums submitted till date by various organisations & elected representatives including myself?” Khaunte tweeted on Sunday evening.
Responding on Union Minister Javadekar’s comment that chief minister Pramod Sawant will address the Mhadei issue, Khaunte lashed out saying that the chief minister has surrendered Mhadei to the Centre and Karnataka.
“Secondly, Union Minister expects @goacm to speak on Mhadei! What’s he going to say about Mother Mhadei after surrendering her into the custody of her two step-sons {Centre & Karnataka}?” Khaunte tweeted.
