Mayem: Goa Forward Party leader Santoshkumar Sawant and his friends adopted unique way to convert the accident prone zone into safe road stretch at Mayem junction.
The junction opposite Mayem Panchayat had turned into a danger spot due to piling up of mud and growth of shrubs on it. Several bikers, specially during night time, used to meet with self accident on this stretch.
Sawant and his friends cleaned up the pile of mud and installed a barrel with signages on this junction which has three different roads meeting at that point.
He said that it will help the people to know the direction and also avoid the accidents from happening.
