Panaji: In an important decision, the State cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today decided to remove government servants from the ambit of Deen Dayal Swastha Seva Yojana (DDSSY).
“The Council of Ministers resolved to approve for discontinuation of enrolment of Goa Government employees and their dependants under the Deen Dayal Swastha Seva Yojana (DDSSY) Scheme,” the cabinet note reads.
The decision has been taken since the government servants are governed under the existing Medical Attendance Rules.
The facility was extended to government employees from September 2019.
