Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 2,321 and reached 79,798 on Monday , a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 1,055 as thirty eight(38) of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 63,483 with 712 of them getting discharged on Monday. The number of active cases is now 15,260, the official said.
“With 6,772 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 6,26,583,” he added.
