Panaji: Even there are as many as 7000 odd applications pending for regularization of unauthorised structures on private land, Minister for TCP Vijai Sardesai has issued clear directions not to approve regularization of unauthorised structures on orchard land or sub divided orchard plot.
The directions were issued during a joint meeting chaired by TCP Minister and Revenue Minister Rohan Khaunte today.
Sardesai said that he has issued clear note that department will not approve any application for regularization of unauthorised structures on orchard land or sub divided orchard plots.
“We are very clear. I have told Revenue Minister that there is no possibility of allowing such structures,” he said.
However, he said, that department is ready to dilute certain provisions like setback area, surface right etc to give relaxation to such applicants.
Minister said that there are 7000 odd applications pending for regularization.
