Shramik Express with 1520 people leaves for MP

The Shramik Express Train carrying 1520 stranded people in Goa left from Madgaon Railway Station to Jabalpur & Reva Districts, Madhya Pradesh, today evening.  A passenger train reached Madgaon today wherein 21 people got down at Madgaon Railway Station. All 21 passengers were taken to South Goa District Hospital for testing and thereafter taken to Fatorda Stadium.  They would be present in the stadium till the time test results are negative.

Similarly, total of 22 people left for Pune around 4 pm today in KTCL bus. A total of 95 people left for Bangalore today evening around 6 pm in KTCL buses.

          Also, one private bus which left Goa to bring people stranded in West Bengal, has reached Goa with 4 people stranded in Kolkata, West Bengal. They have been taken to Azilo Hospital, Mapusa  and later sent to Panjim Quarantine Centre.

All the officials of Interstate Movement Cell are striving hard to ensure Inter-state movement of stranded people by adhering to the guidelines prescribed by MHA. This has resulted in facilitating stranded people to reach their respective places safely.
