Panaji: P S Sreedharan Pillai has been appointed as new Governor of Goa.
State Chief Minister Pramod Sawant tweeted “Congratulations Shri P S Sreedharan Pillai ji, on his appointment as Governor of Goa. Looking forward to welcome him in our beautiful state.”
Maharashtra Governor B S Koshyari was holding additional charge of Goa after the transfer of Satya Pal Malik in August 2020.
The 66 year old Pillai was former chief of BJP in Kerala and also has held a charge as Governor of Mizoram .
