Only essential commodities available on March 23, CCP to keep market open in the morning

Panaji: While confusion still prevails over on whether people can venture out to buy essentials in the market tomorrow in the wake of “Janata Curfew”, Corporation of city of Panaji have said that they will keep the market open from 8 a.m. till 11 a.m.

CCP Mayor Uday Madkaikar said that only vegetables, fish, grocery and fruits will be sold at the market. He also appealed people to come alone, and not with the group, to avoid rush.

State government in the meantime has issued a circular which has suspended operations of all the govt depts., state govt industrial depts.,Industries., Private Establishments including Factories and others for next three days.

The circular mentions that the essential services will be kept open.
