Porvorim: Industries Minister Vishwajit Rane today announced to come out with new Industrial policy before the next session of the State Legislative Assembly.
Minister said that government has decided to finalize the State Investment and Industrial Policy, which was approved by the then Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar led cabinet but was not notified.
He said that industrial stakeholders like Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industries (GCCI), Goa Small Industries Association (GSIA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and others would be taken into confidence before drafting the policy.
“The inputs of the stakeholders would be incorporated in the policy. Before the next Assembly session, the policy would be finalized,” Rane assured.
