Panaji: Panaji MLA Babush Monserratte has said that Calangute MLA Michael Lobo should be asked to head Goa Waste Management Corporation.
He said that since chief minister Pramod Sawant is busy and has no time, the responsibility should be handed over to Lobo.
“Let Michal lobo be made the chairman as he has dedication and time for that,” Monserratte said after chairing the meeting of CCP Corporators on garbage issue.
Monserratte said that former CM Manohar Parrikar had assured that Bainguinim plant should be ready within two years. But nothing has happened.
The Panaji MLA said that he spoke to Cumbharjua MLA Pandurang Madkaikar and he has no issue with Baiguinim plant.
He questioned why Saligao plant was not built considering the requirement of entire district.
