Margao: South Goa Police on Sunday arrested a man for allegedly sending threatening text messages to Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho. Police are investigating his links to the other threatening messages sent to CM Pramod Sawant and other leaders including Goa Forward Party Vice President Durgadas Kamat and former Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha leader Pranav Sawardekar.
Superintendent of Police (South) Pankaj Kumar Singh said that Vasco police have arrested a man. He said that the arrest was made over the complaint by Godinho.
When asked, he said that the links of accused in sending messages to CM and others is also being investigated.
