Vasco: The Indian red cross society (Mormugao Branch)organized a free eye check up camp in association with Mathoshree Sevandham Arogya Seva Trust & Medical Research Centre at Old Cross,. Vasco.
The organizers said that there was a huge response , with more than 400 registration and 386 were checked , out of which 260 were prescribed for glasses.
The glasses were of good quality and they were sold at the rate of Rs. 160/- only, they said.
Along with the Chairperson Georgina Fiola Rego the others members present for the camp were JaiAmol Naik the Secretary, Krishna Salker the Treasurer, Dr. Kirti Naik the vice Chairperson and the other members Arnald Do Rego, Shammi Salker, William Cardozo Luiza Cardozo and Sweta Varshney. And the Mathoshree trust members were Sanket Bidwai,Dr.Maruti. Sawant, Kashinath Patade, Sunil Mulik,Jaywany Mulik,and Uttej Parab.
