Heavy rainfall to continue : IMD

Panaji : The Indian Meteorological Department, Goa has that 
Heavy Rainfall (Rainfall>6cm in 24hrs) very likely at isolated places over North & South Goa districts from 26th to 28th July & at a few places on 29th &30th July.
Increase in rainfall and strengthening of winds likely on 29th&30th July after formation of Low pressure area over North Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood around 28th July, 2021.
IMD has also warned fishermen to not venture into the sea. A warning for upto 75 KM from the coast has been issued as squally weather with wind speed reaching 40-50 Kmph gusting to 60 Kmph is likely to prevail along and off- south Maharashtra and Goa coast on 28 to 30 July.
Meanwhile for distances beyond 75 KM from the coast the fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea from 26 to 30th July.
