Panaji: Now and then there has been stories of the government and community members coming together to laud the service of these corona warriors but this gesture by a patient at Goa Medical College (GMC) and hospital has grabbed the attention of Health Minister Vishwajit Rane.
The health minister on Wednesday shared a greetings card made a patient to extend wishes to doctors and nurses of GMC for their selfless service.
Posting the picture of the card on social media Rane wrote, “A beautiful letter written by a patient extending his gratitude to the doctors and nurses at GMC. Salute to our warriors who are fighting this disease in the frontline and are putting their lives at risk to keep us safe.”
The coronavirus pandemic has created a distress like situation especially among health workers who have been working under pressure relentlessly putting their lives into threat for the welfare of the society.
