To commemorate 75 years of Indian independence, Government of India has launched _Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav_ on 12 Mar 21. As part of this event, Indian Navy alongwith Indian Coast Guard and State Government will be conducting various interaction programs with the fishermen community in Goa area on 12 Mar 21. The interaction program is scheduled to be undertaken at _Talpona_ and _Malem_ jetty and is aimed at enhancing coordination and cooperation between coastal security agencies and the fishermen whose contribution is vital in ensuring coastal security.
