Fatorda: Fatorda police on Thursday booked historysheeter Anwar Sheikh for wrongful restrain, criminal intimidation and voluntarily causing hurt to a Goa Forward Party supporter.
Simon Furtado, a GFP supporter, had filed a complaint with Fatorda police alleging that Sheikh had threatened him after the municipal election campaign at Fatorda.
The incident happened after GFP President Vijai Sardesai had left the spot after addressing a group of workers.
He had said that Sheikh had threatened Furtado, warning him against being close to Sardesai.
