Panaji: The IMD has predicted that Goa will witness heavy rainfall for next five days. The prediction coupled with the rainfall witnessed on Friday has come as a solace for the state, which was eagerly waiting for the monsoon to set in.
The IMD has forecasted that there will be increased rainfall due to an off-shore trough at mean sea level that runs roughly along South Maharashtra, Karnataka and North Kerala coasts.
