Bambolim: In what can be termed as a pleasing news, Goa Medical College and Hospital doctors conducted kidney transplant on two young patients on Saturday.
Team of doctors led by Dr Madhumohan and Dr J P Tiwari conducted the kidney transplant operation.
State Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has congratulated the team of doctors for helping to save the lives.
He said that SOTTO registry would help more patients to get the benefits. Rane said both the patients on whom the operation was conducted are doing well.
The minister said that the state government has tied up with the Spanish company to implement SOTTI program.
