Panaji: Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte took a dig at Waste Management Minister Michael Lobo and went on to call him ‘Garbage Minister’.
In a tweet on Wednesday, Khaunte stated that it Lobo seems to have taken over health department as he is justifying the exclusion of private hospitals under Deen Dayal Swastha Seva Yojana (DDSSY). Khaunte alleged and stated that the tussle between the chief minister and health minister has taken up Goan lives and now the ‘garbage minister will lay the health department into waste’.
“It seems that Waste Management Minister is running the Health Dept also and hence he’s justifying the non-inclusion of Pvt Hospitals under DSSY. The tussle between CM & HM is taking up Goan lives and now the Garbage Minister will lay the Health Department to Waste!” Khaunte wrote in the tweet.
