Exclaiming that it is a good move by the apex court with respect to the struggling mining industry, Khaunte said that he is hopeful that it does not encourages illegal mining.
“Supreme Court allows transportation of extracted ore upto 31.1.2021. While it’s good news for the struggling mining industry, I sincerely hope it’s not going to boost illegal mining. @goacm must ensure vigilant checks to plug revenue leakages & related maladies of Illegal Mining,” Khaunte tweeted.
