Calangute: Former Calangute MLA Agnelo Fernandes has accepted the challenge for an open debate given by local Raj Kittur over restaurant demolition cases.
Kittur, through FB post, had dared the former MLA to come out for the debate.
He had claimed that in 2006, Agnelo was instrumental in demolition of his restaurant “Jazz House” at Candolim.
Kittur has questioned why Lobo is now shedding crocodile tears when his own idea is used by others to grab the land.
He has said that he is ready for open public debate over the issue with Lobo.
After Kittur’s post, several comments to the post had supported the idea of public debate.
Taking to GNH, the former MLA said that he is ready for a debate with Kittur.
“Let him tell me about the date place and the moderator for the debate. I am ready,” he said.
