Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 140 and reached 56,981 on Wednesday , a health department official said.
The death toll remained at 821 as none of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 55,004 with 73 of them getting discharged on Wednesday . The number of active cases is now 1156, the official said.
“With 1,773 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 5,30,780,” he added.
