Panaji: Congress party in a letter to PWD Minister Deepak Pausakar has demanded to conduct inquiry into the poor road conditions and to fix accountability.

Goa Pradesh Congress committee (GPCC) general secretary Adv Yatish Naik said that while a lot is being spoken of by the Government, the sorry state of the roads all over the State speaks for itself a story of neglect and disregard for which the Government is solely responsible and liable.

“PWD Minister can’t loose sight of the fact that the works of the Department are funded and financed by the sweat of the tax payers money. We demand an inquiry and that the findings of the same be made known to the public while ensuring that the accountability is fixed,” Naik stated.

He has highlighted about the bad road conditions in the Saligao constituency, in his letter demanding immediate repairs.
