Panaji: Corporation of the City of Panaji Mayor Udai Madkaikar discussed the standard operations procedure for Diwali on Tuesday that will be released soon. Addressing the press Madkaikar said, “People followed SOP in Ganesh Charuthi hence, we can control Covid cases in Panaji as compared to other parts of Goa. Similarly, we will be releasing SOP for Diwali.”
This year for those willing to make narkasur will have to give an application.
“Narkasur effigies only upto 5 feet will be allowed, no Narkasur will be allowed on roads and no fire crackers as this will cause health problems to those observing home quarantine,” said Madkaikar.
