Panaji: Agnelo Cunha and Regha Pai were elected unopposed as Sarpanch and Deputy Sarpanch of Taleigao village panchayat.
The Taleigao panchayat elections held on April 28 were won by Atanasio Monserratte backed panel. The panel won all eleven wards.
The term of the new panchayat body is for a period of five years.
Taleigao MLA Jennifer Monserratte was present when the panel appointed its new Sarpanch and Deputy Sarpanch.
