Margao: Goa Forward Party Chief Vijai Sardesai has said that chief minister Pramod Sawant should “admit his mistake and roll back” proposed tax on liquor, especially feni.
Sawant after meeting Liquor Traders’ body on Tuesday had assured to ‘rethink’on the proposed tax on the liquor. GFP had threatened to agitate, if tax on feni is not withdrawn by state government.
Reacting to CM’s statement, Sardesai tweeted “From when are directions given to rethink? I thought directions are given after rethink & the rollback happens. Admit the mistake and have the roll back or face agitation!.”
