Margao: The Bail applications of Ayub and Anil before the Sessions Court in the matter of the attempt to murder case of Cenvi Pires of Navelim were for arguments today.
The Advocate for the Accused objected to the intervention of the victim.
Adv. Seoula Avilia Vas appeared for the victim and argued that the intervention is their right and that the bail application be rejected.
The arguments on the rights of the victim to have their word in court went on for an hour. On 29th June the court will decide whether the victim will be allowed representation in the matter.
Thereafter the court decided to not hear the bail application today after the vehement opposition by Adv. Seoula and has instead once again postponed the matter to 29th June. The accused will not be released till then.
