Ponda: MGP MLA Sudin Dhavalikar has reiterated his demand of 15 day long lockdown in the state due to rising COVID19 cases.
In a media statement, Dhavalikar said “It’s high time that Govt. takes steps to save the lives of our People. With today’s mortality reaching the highest of all time, major steps need to be taken to curb the spread of covid-19 virus.”
“Our health infrastructure is fully stressed, with patients and relatives finding it difficult to find a bed.”
“I stand with my statement of 15 days lockdown and appeal to the CMO Goa to impose a strict lockdown for 15 days to break the chain and use the period to upgrade the health infrastructure and increase testing.”
“Keeping politics aside we need to fight this pandemic together. We have to take every step possible to save each life.”
