Panaji: Officer Kapil Phadte has been transferred from the post of SDM Bardez while he has been replaced with Rajesh Ajgaonkar.
While Goa Forward Party on Wednesday morning had speculated the Phadte would be shunted out for helping Colvale ZP member Kavita Kandolkar in solving certain issue, the transfer order has mentioned that Phadte had asked for the transfer.
“Transfer of officer at Sr No 1 is at his own request. All the above officers shall take the charge and submit compliance report,” the order reads.
Earlier, Goa Forward Party Vice President Durgadas Kamat had claimed that the CM wants to transfer Bardez SDM 1 for solving issues raised by Colvale ZP member.
Phadte has been transferred as Deputy Director (Admin) of Department of Information and Technology.
Ajgaonkar has been given a charge with additional charge as SDM Sattari and Forest Settlement Officer, North Goa.
