Panaji: NSUI Goa on Thursday demanded that exams of 10th std and 12th std to be conducted online or to be postponed since active cases in Goa has crossed 5000 mark after registering 772 new Covid-19 cases , also 2 lakh new cases has been seen throughout the country in last 24 hours .
NSUI North Goa President Naushad Chaudhury said that it is very unfortunate that instead of putting Covid management into place Chief Minister wants to conduct 10th and 12th board exams, in Goa patients are struggling to get admitted, beds are full, patients are sleeping on the floor in GMC.
In this situation CM should first focus and work in management of covid and make sure that this situation comes under control and once the Covid-19 number comes down he should think of conducting board exams and if still CM want to do away with these board exams then he should conduct this exams in online mode not offline mode.
Earlier Minister of Education, Govt of India announced that CBSC Boards of 10th std will be cancelled and 12th std will be postponed till June so taking these decision into consideration many states have cancelled/postponed their state board exams , CM should follow this and implement in Goa .
Here we are not understanding why CM Pramod never listens to students plea why his he so arrogant and to do away with the exams by putting students lives in danger At present Govt can’t handle 5000 active cases and tomorrow due to this exams this cases will be increased and it will be a disaster , during Phase 1 this CM had made an disaster we don’t want to face another more severe disaster made by this inefficient CM Pramod Sawant .
We demand that decision of these exams should come as soon as possible , if cbsc can do it why can’t we state board ?
