Panaji:Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday enquired about the health condition of Union AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik, who is recuperating at Goa Medical College and Hospital.
In a media statement released here, Naik’s office said that the PM called Naik over the phone to enquire about his health condition. This is the second call made by the PM to Naik, the first one being on Friday.
Naik has been admitted to GMCH after he met with an accident while on his way back to Goa from Karnataka, last Monday. His wife and an aide had succumbed to the injuries.
The Union Minister who is recovering from his injuries, for the first time since his admission in the hospital, moved out of the wall. He was brought out on wheel chair by the hospital staff.
