Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Friday said that the people should act more responsibly to control the spread of COVID19 in the state.
Sawant said that the people should be more responsible when COVID-19 cases are on rise in the coastal state. “At least, we should wear mask, maintain social distance and sanitize to avoid spread of the virus,” he told reporters.
The chief minister said that the state government is taking all the possible steps to curb the spread of the virus.
“We have been providing vaccination and all other facilities for treatment of the covid patients,” he said.
In the recent past, Sawant has repetitively refused to go for a lockdown or night curfew in the state.
