Panaji: “The one time settlement scheme of the Public Works Department has been further extended to another one month,” PWD Minister Deepak pawaskar
Addressing media persons at the assembly complex PWD Minister Pawaskar inferred that the scheme was applicable for defaulting water consumers who have not paid their dues up to October 31, 2020, defaulting water consumers whose cases are referred to revenue recovery court as on October 31, 2020 and to those water consumers whose installations are temporarily/ permanently discontinued as of October 31, 2020.
He said that if the defaulting consumers failed to avail the benefits of the scheme then their water connection shall be disconnected immediately.
