Panaji : NSUI Goa has welcomed the decision of the government to postpone 10th and 12th Class board exams. NSUI Goa President Ahraz Mulla wrote”This is a victory of students’ power, victory of NSUI, Long live students unity, we fought for our rights and we got our rights, this is a warning to the government to not take the student community lightly”.

Mulla speaking to GNH said many were against the postponement of the exam but the students community at large believed since CBSE class 10 exams were cancelled and class 12 exams postponed, even Goan students rightfully deserved to have their exams postponed. “we fought against all odd and won, our fight reminds me of quote which  said First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, the you win”
Meanwhile North Goa President of NSUI Naushad Chowdhari has taken a jibe at Aam Admi Party “AAP is trying to take advantage of this movement who did not actively participate in the protest. They have merely given a memorandum to the concerned authorities, while the students fought on the ground” concluded Naushad
