Panaji : The National Students Union of India, Goa under the leadership of Naushad Chowdhari had protested at Goa University along with Goa College of Architecture Students demanding that their exams be conducted in an online mode. “After gheraoing , the Controller of Examinations Anuradha Wagle, we are given assurance that exams of architecture college will be online mode from January 18,” said NSUI President of North Goa Naushad Chowdhari.
NSUI Goa further also demands that the final year exams should be in online mode. “Here CM cannot conduct assembly session of 40 members and Goa University wants to conduct examinations of final year with 20000 students,” said Chowdhari
NSUI Goa has asserted that a full time Registrar needs to be appointed who can listen to grievances of students, “Prof Radhika Nayak is officiating registrar and half of the time she in not available to address student issue as she is the principle of a college and also since she is close aide to BJP she can be biased in decision making which will affect the students at large.” NSUI Goa will be giving a memorandum to the Governor of Goa who is also the Chancellor of Goa University regarding this matter demanding a full time Registrar be appointed at Goa University.
