Valpoi:The Naneli villagers held a protest march on the Water Supply Department at Valpoi on Monday.
The Naneli Village from Valpoi constituency is facing the acute water shortage problem in village since past one year.
Villagers claim that they have been holding protest marchs frequently but there is no response from the government.
The operators who works on water tank of Naneli village are not doing their work properly and they are supplying the water from tank to commercial establishments.
According to villagers the Valpoi Water Supply Department Officials are not bothered to solve the water shortage problem of Naneli villagers despite several reminders. The villagers went many times in the Water Supply Department, but every visits the officials remains absence, no one is their to listen their grienvances say villagers.
The water tanker is coming in our village rarely and the water tanker operator is not supplying the water properly to us, says a village woman.
Both the operators, who are working at the water tank are not supplying the water to villagers. They are supplying the water to the commercial business people, while taking the money from them. We demand to the Government to suspend the both operators immediately, say villagers.
